Alabama has experienced unprecedented growth in the last decade, due in part, to a business environment that allows small business to grow and workers to keep their hard earned money. Senator Jeff Sessions has worked hand-in-hand with members of the Alabama congressional delegation and Governor Bob Riley to help bring jobs to the state.  Together, they have positioned Alabama as a prime destination for companies looking to grow and compete in the global marketplace.

Automobile manufacturers Hyundai, Honda, and Kia have located throughout the state in recent years and have created high quality jobs.  Defense-related growth in the Huntsville area has positioned north Alabama as one of the nation’s leading areas working to support our men and women in uniform.  Major announcements such as the EADS/Northrup Grumman tanker contract and the ThyssenKrupp steel mill, bring great hope for sustained economic growth to Alabama.

Despite these great successes, the nation is facing uncertain economic times.  That is why Senator Sessions is fighting to make the Bush tax cuts permanent, and avoid the largest tax increase in history.  Sessions works everyday to limit unnecessary regulation so that America’s entrepreneurial spirit can flourish.
