The DREAM Act is expected to be introduced as an amendment to the Defense Authorization bill on the floor of the Senate this week. It will pave the way for certain illegal aliens to become citizens and make them eligible for in-state tuition and federal financial aid for education, such as Stafford and Perkins loans.
